These are the key dates to understand the mortgage conflict:

▶ ️ May 1995: the AJD Tax Regulation is approved, which establishes that the tax must pay the client.

▶ ️ 2015: the Supreme Court establishes that the bank must pay the tax, although subsequently revokes its decision.

▶ ️ 2017: The municipal housing company of Rivas raises a appeal to the Supreme (which will lead to the recent sentence).

▶ ️ 10/18/2018: the Supreme Court corrects a previous position and indicates that it is the bank who must pay the AJD.

▶ ️ 10/19/2018: paralysis: the president of the Chamber urgently paralyzes the previous decision.

▶ ️ 11/05/2018: New Decision: The Supreme Revoke the decision and determines that customers must pay the mortgage tax. Given the decision, the government has indicated that it will create a royal decree to correct the Supreme decision and that it is the bank who pays the Corporation Tax.

In Verum Management we will remain attentive to subsequent decisions on the tax on documented legal acts.
